New venue

The new venue for our monthly meeting is, The Warren pub, Stamford Road/Windmill Avenue junction, Kettering, NN16 8FD. One of the bars will be solely for the use of the boat club. We know that not everyone wants to meet at a pub, but there is no cost to the club and soft drinks, tea and coffee etc will be available, together with a small buffet.

. The first meeting at the pub will be on May 12th (Monday). We hope that everyone will make an effort to try out the new venue so that we can make the decision whether we want to meet at the Warren on the second Monday of each month, or the existing dates at the church.

The dates at the church do vary during the year, whilst the meeting at the pub would be on the second Monday of every month. We also have the opportunity to meet twice a month if we want to.

There is a good carpark there with everything on the level for those who struggle to walk. There is also widescreen TV in the pub which we can use to show DVD's, videos etc.

Hope you will be at the church on the 29th April (7.30) and at the pub on the 12th May.
